I hate my hair. It's just horrible. I simply cannot stand it!
Then a couple of years ago I decided that I'd just about had enough of fighting my hair every day and that I would invest in some quality straighteners to help me sort out my crazy hair.
My friend went to the hairstylist and she has unbelievably curly hair. She asked the stylist to attemt to straighten it and they got out some ghd irons. When I saw her hair I couldn't believe it. Her hair was pencil straight. Not one curl or wave in place and the change from frizzy to straight was startling.
I initially used my friends but it soon became obvious that I would need to buy my own as I was becoming very dependent on them, using them every day - and so did my friend. The best deal I found online was listed here: ghd Straighteners - which list only official ghd stockists which is very important as there are loads of counterfeit ghd straighteners being sold on the net, in fact if you come across new ghd straighteners being sold for less than ?70 they are probably fake so beware. GHD styling irons come in three sizes, those with thinner plates for short hair the mini styler, medium sized plates like those of the MK4 styler and thicker plates for very thick hair the salon styler. Normally I would have gone for the biggest plates possible as my hair is really thick but I went for the regular size ghd as I wanted to try curling my hair with them as well - the wide plates would not be as good at this.
They are expensive but after using them compared to others i think they are worth every penny and can see why they are what the professionals use. I am hoping that they last me a very long long time. They do come with guarantee from the place that i bought them from and they would replace if they broke. I think really they were a very good investment of my ?90.
